Yesterday we enjoyed another successful management conference with the Board and senior team in Northampton.
The day started with our Chairman, Sean Sidhu-Brar, commemorating International Women’s Day with a heartfelt message acknowledging the huge strides made in gender equality but also recognising that this progress was unfortunately not universal.
The Hospital and Care Home Managers then took over the floor. They all shared how their settings is embracing and embedding the mission and values of SMHC. These informative presentations were not only inspiring as the successes were shared, but also useful for shared learning with frank discussions on how challenges were overcome.
Kelly Mulhern, Chief Nurse, summed up the day beautifully in her closing remarks.’ It is uplifting and gratifying to hear how the Managers are cascading our 6 core values through their actions and practices every day with both their teams and service users.
This conference has been a wonderful opportunity to come together and share the successes and challenges between facilities in an open, collaborative way.’
Congratulations to all the Managers for their engaging, professional presentations which were enjoyed by all.
