Saying No to Racism
St Matthews Healthcare is a dynamic, growing care organisation striving to be an outstanding care provider and employer of choice.
In the Summer of 2023 SMHC signed up to the Royal College of Psychiatry’s Act Against Racism initiative to further help support SMHC’s vision for staff to work in an environment where everyone feels safe, respected, valued, and treated with dignity.
A cross organisational working group has been set up to together to implement the 15 agreed actions in a phased approach to cover these 6 areas:
- Addressing concerns
- Equity of opportunity
- Our culture
- Specific stakeholders
