About St Matthews Healthcare
Started in 1995 by Sean Sidhu-Brar and Rani Sandhu, a husband-and-wife team. This Northampton family business thrived with employees being a central part of the SMHC family while delivering high quality, compassionate care.
From a single care home, we’ve grown to an extended family of 10 specialist adult mental health and social care settings in the Midlands and East Sussex. Offering in-patient hospital services, community-based MDT rehabilitation units and nursing care homes.
Professional, personal caring approach
We’ve a passion for promoting mental and physical wellbeing through effective personal therapies in safe, nurturing environments. We are committed to fostering a culture of empowerment and accountability that drives the highest standards of care. We treat service users with dignity and respect.
Progressive multi-disciplinary care
Enabling and empowering our services users to drive their care provision, guided and supported by our multi-disciplinary teams (MDT) every step of the way.
This approach lends itself to reduce risk behaviours, and support service users to be in control of their care, and promote their independence in both social and adaptive skills.
We put you at the centre of everything we do
Our mission, Enabling you by putting you at the centre of everything we do, is the key we are using to open doors to our strategic pathway. It enables us to invest in our peoples development and deliver outstanding clinical care using a person centred approach supported by an efficient technology infrastructure so we can achieve the best clinical outcomes.
A dynamic, growing care provider
As a leading, regional UK adult social and mental health care provider with a team of over 1000 people, we have a progressive, dynamic approach to delivering mental health care services across hospitals, community-based MDT units and nursing homes.
