Our ethos is that we provide professional and compassionate care that promotes independence and supports residents to pursue their own interests.
St Matthews Healthcare provides a variety of specialist intensive mental health therapies for patients facing a variety of complex mental health disorders and behavioural challenges, as well as neuro-behavioural rehabilitation for those affected by brain injury.
We also offer a range of residential care services for the elderly living with mental health problems, including dementia, combined with declining physical health.
We treat all of our patients with dignity and respect and, where possible, we work collaboratively with them to agree a bespoke programme of care and independent living skills.
The care provided treats the whole person by combining psychological interventions with leisure and social activities to enhance overall health and wellbeing.
Facilities that fit
Our residential homes are secure, but offer a ‘homely’ feel and residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms to reflect their own style and interests.
We also provide locked hospital care, day care, open community living, and specialist rehabilitation and treatment facilities. Our facilities are safe, whilst also being comfortable and welcoming.
